So it seems my laziness is followed up by bursts of hard work and half way decent work. It's been over a week since my last post partially due to my own laziness and another part due to work being so dominating recently.
Eitherway I had some progress over the past week.
First up is me being stalled on my project from the last post. I had borrowed a friend's primer as she had black for her Sisters of Battle and It met with some disaster. Besides running out after I barely started, anything plastic had a decent chance of melting in spots. I've been told I was to close dispite I followed the guidance on the can but eitherway I had no real loss besides the detail on three space marines that were extras. The dreadnought's chaingun arm also suffered some but it was on the side that connect to the main body (In fact this was the piece I realized it on and was noticed quickly enough that I was able to clear out the hole for where it connects). Sadly however the model most affected was an old Terminator Librarian that had come out of one of the expansions of the orignal space hulk I believe. I don't know if it is older than that but I seem to remember seeing a picture of it in the marines supplied with Genestealer.
Eitherway due to lack of effective primer and another friend getting a car at the end of the month I have decided to hold off on the new(er) guys until then when we plan on going and finding a Games Workshop.
Now because of this and some input I managed to finish that scout I started way back when. Not only that but I was able to get another scout to the same point I stopped at on the one before him. I'll have pictures up tommorrow, but I think he turned out pretty well all things considered and his companion is doing just as well. I think I'll round out the squad though I won't be starting on Sgt Tellion untill I can get some good files and other stuff to sutably convert him. I have found you can get a lot done when you have 12 hours set aside.
Anyway, till next time.
